Director of Nursing


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence healthcare practices, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient services.


Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies

- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care

- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and high performance

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve clinical outcomes

- Manage staffing levels, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and quality

- Ensure patient safety and satisfaction through continuous quality improvement initiatives

- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance and organizational needs

- Stay current with healthcare trends, regulations, and best practices to inform departmental strategies


Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred

- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license

- Proven experience in nursing leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role

- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical best practices

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure

- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR)
