About the Role
Your missions
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cabin Mechanic to support Final Assembly Line (FAL) operations. In this role, you will execute interior installations, perform outstanding works (OSW), carry out late-definition retrofits, and complete surface preparation and mechanical assembly for all cabin components—including premium business class seats—within an aircraft production environment.Key Responsibilities
- Cabin & Business Class Seat Installation: Perform splitting, assembly, alignment, tracking, and mechanical installation of standard and complex business class seat modules, shell structures, lay-flat mechanisms, lavatories, galleys, and partitions
- Outstanding Works (OSW) & Retrofits: Execute OSW items, late-definition modifications, and manufacturing reworks on cabin structures and seating units prior to aircraft delivery.
- Bonding & Surface Preparation: Perform surface cleaning, sanding, filling, and application of approved sealants, adhesives, decorative films, composite laminates, and self-gripping tapes according to specified curing times.
- Non-Conformity & System Logging: Clear non-conformities (NC) and document work completion, tracing actions through production control systems such as SAP, eQLB, and eTLB.
- FOD Prevention & Safety: Maintain strict tool inventory control and adhere strictly to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention protocols and site HSSE regulations
Your profile
- Completed vocational training or equivalent technical qualification in an aircraft-related or technical field.
- Ideally with a background in aircraft mechanics, aircraft electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, structural assembly, electrical installation or a related discipline.
- Additional training or practical experience in aircraft cabin integration, aircraft assembly or aircraft maintenance is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of aircraft assembly and cabin installation processes.
- Familiarity with Airbus documentation, work instructions and processes is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the tools and equipment used in aircraft cabin installation.
- Minimum 18 months of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in aircraft cabin installation, aircraft assembly, aircraft maintenance or a related technical field.
- Practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical installation work in an aviation environment.
- Ability to work accurately and in accordance with technical documentation, quality and safety requirements.
