Description
Are you a highly organized, dependable professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and ensuring parts and materials are received, stored, and delivered accurately? SEI is looking for a Shipping & Receiving team member to support our branch operations by managing the flow of parts, equipment, and materials.
As a key member of our parts team, you will help ensure orders are received, picked, packed, shipped, and delivered efficiently and accurately. This role will also support inventory control through physical counts, stocking, and maintaining organized storage areas. You will work closely with vendors, customers, technicians, and branch personnel while helping maintain a clean, safe, and productive warehouse and yard environment.

What You'll Do
Shipping & Receiving Operations
- Receive and inspect incoming parts, materials, and freight from vendors.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation.
- Unload, organize, and properly store incoming parts, equipment, and materials.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer and internal orders for shipment.
- Process outbound shipments using appropriate shipping methods and procedures.
- Deliver parts, materials, and other items to customers and other designated locations as needed.
- Operate yard equipment such as a forklift, to safely unload and move palletized materials, plows, hitches, and other large or heavy items.
- Ensure parts and materials are stored in appropriate locations and are easily accessible.
- Communicate shipping, receiving, and delivery issues to the appropriate supervisor or department.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper receiving, stocking, picking, and material handling procedures.
- Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Assist with inventory control and reconciliation activities within the parts management system.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or receiving issues.
- Organize and maintain inventory locations for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Ensure orders received are properly stocked and recorded in company systems.
Customer & Team Support
- Provide professional and courteous service to internal and external customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, technicians, sales personnel, and other employees.
- Work collaboratively within a goal-oriented team environment.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow established company procedures related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education & Experience
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred
- Experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, industrial, trucking, agricultural equipment, or related industries.
- Experience with inventory management or dealer management systems.
- Experience operating yard equipment or other material-handling equipment.
- Previous experience with shipping and receiving procedures, freight carriers, and delivery
