Start Your Healthcare Career – Free CNA Training Program


Location: Bellingham, WA

Next Class Begins: October 19th, 2026

Location: Alderwood Park Health & Rehabilitation (2726 Alderwood Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225) 


Are you interested in starting a meaningful career in healthcare and making a difference in people’s lives? We are offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program designed to help you gain the skills and certification needed to begin a rewarding career in healthcare.


This program provides hands-on training, classroom instruction, and support through the state testing process to help you become a licensed CNA in Washington State.


What You’ll Learn:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, and mobility
  • Support residents during meals, social activities, and appointments
  • Monitor resident wellbeing and report any changes in condition
  • Follow individualized care plans to ensure quality care
  • Create a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for residents
  • Prepare resident rooms and ensure residents are comfortable and safe
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team

Program Requirements:

  • Must pass a background check
  • Must attend registration and 100% of scheduled classes
  • Training must be completed in person

Class Schedule

  • Classes are held Monday – Thursday beginning at 8:30 AM.
  • Our team will also assist you with the state testing process and applying for your Washington CNA license.

Requirements

  • Must possess a minimum of a 10th-grade education.
  • 18 years old
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate necessary resident information to Charge Nurses, Director of Nursing and/or Administrator. 
  • CPR certified preferred but not required
