As a Field Engineer - Cased Hole Wireline Intervention, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and efficient wireline logging and well intervention services. You will be responsible for the preparation, execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of logging and intervention operations while supporting customers and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
As a Field Engineer - Cased Hole Wireline Intervention, you will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating proficiency across logging and well intervention service lines while maintaining a strong focus on service quality and operational excellence.
- Assisting in the coaching, mentoring, and development of junior engineers and field personnel.
- Participating in company-sponsored and third-party technical training programs to enhance technical competency.
- Preparing, controlling, and maintaining equipment required for logging and intervention operations in accordance with established procedures.
- Understanding and complying with all company operational documents, standards, and service procedures.
- Liaising with customer representatives to ensure successful execution of operations and effective communication throughout the job.
- Executing safe and efficient logging and well intervention operations in accordance with operational and HSE requirements.
- Recording and reporting operational non-conformities and supporting corrective action implementation.
- Performing cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and function testing of tools and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Managing equipment packing, labeling, shipment preparation, and reporting activities.
- Reporting HSE observations, equipment issues, and undesired incidents promptly and accurately.
- Providing operational data and documentation required for maintenance planning, equipment reliability, and performance analysis.
- Supporting onshore activities including equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment readiness programs.
- Ensuring all equipment maintenance activities are completed to support safe and successful job execution.
- Maintaining company equipment in a clean and professional condition to ensure positive customer perception.
- Maintaining and updating competency portfolios and training records to meet operational requirements.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a University Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Have experience in Well Intervention operations, preferably within offshore wireline environments.
- Have hands-on experience with cased hole logging tools, tractor conveyance systems, and related PMA services.
- Hold all required local certifications, offshore qualifications, and medical clearances as applicable.
- Demonstrate strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing operational requirements and customer needs.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in dynamic environments.
- Be proactive in anticipating operational challenges and developing effective solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
