About the Role

Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. (HCMP) is seeking an associate attorney to join the firm’s real estate transactional team. The ideal candidate is junior to mid-level with general transactional experience. We are looking for a team player, a creative and practical problem solver, and a colleague with a good sense of humor. In this role, you will work with the real estate team representing local, regional, and national clients across a full range of real estate matters, including purchase and sale transactions, leasing, financing, development and construction contracts, joint ventures, and condominium formation and governance.

HCMP is a Seattle-based law firm of 50 attorneys whose core practices focus on representing and advising Pacific Northwest companies. Requirements


Exceptional client service, self-motivation, teamwork, creativity, and close attention to detail are critical for this role. The ideal candidate will have one to four years’ transactional experience. Candidates should be licensed to practice in (or willing to become licensed in) Washington.


Compensation, Hybrid Work & Other Benefits


The estimated salary range for this role is $180,000–$205,000 with bonus-earning potential, based on the desired experience range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.


This position is eligible for hybrid work. We strongly encourage a minimum of one day per week worked in our office, preferably Tuesdays. While we value flexibility, business needs may necessitate different or additional in-office days beyond our current policy.
