Director of Artificial Intelligence | On-Campus, Dallas, PA

Position Overview:
The Director of Artificial Intelligence provides institution-wide leadership for the practical, responsible, and effective use of artificial intelligence at Misericordia University. Experience:
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management, technology implementation, organizational innovation, business-process improvement, change management, higher-education administration, consulting, or a related area.
- Demonstrated experience moving complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption, and evaluation.
- Practical experience with generative AI, AI-assisted productivity tools, workflow automation, data analytics, enterprise software, or related emerging technologies.
- Experience working with senior leaders, functional departments, technical specialists, vendors, and other stakeholders to translate organizational needs into practical solutions.
- Higher education or experience in another complex, highly regulated service organization preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, data analytics, project management, instructional technology, organizational leadership, higher-education administration, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience may be considered.
- Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Professional Credentials:
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean, Prosci, or comparable project-management, process-improvement, or change-management credential preferred but not required.
- Ongoing professional development in artificial intelligence, data governance, privacy, security, accessibility, and emerging higher-education practices expected.
