Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence through strategic business development, account management, and client relationship building. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you'll identify new opportunities, nurture existing client relationships, and convert prospects into loyal customers. Your enthusiasm, commercial mindset, and customer-focused approach will be essential to your success in this fast-paced, rewarding position.
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities within the corporate, MICE, group, and leisure segments, utilizing proactive outreach and market research
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate decision-makers, travel management companies, event planners, and strategic partners
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, networking events, and market visits to identify new revenue streams and competitive opportunities
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of accounts, conducting periodic reviews and implementing account development strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Prepare compelling proposals, quotations, and agreements; follow up strategically to maximize conversion rates and close deals
- Manage client inquiries from initial contact through delivery and post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements within approved parameters while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction
- Maintain an active and organized sales pipeline, accurately recording all activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- Coordinate with internal teams including operations, food and beverage, reservations, and front office to ensure flawless event execution and client delivery
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across services and products to maximize customer lifetime value
- Monitor account performance, maintain accurate records of tentative and confirmed business, and analyze sales metrics to inform strategy
- Meet and greet clients during events when possible, and conduct post-event follow-ups to drive repeat business and referrals
Qualifications
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Proven prospecting, communication, and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with capacity to manage multiple clients, inquiries, and projects simultaneously
- Commercial awareness and analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in all business dealings
- Proficiency with CRM systems and hotel management software; experience with platforms such as Ivvy or Opera is highly valued
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with confidence in both phone and in-person interactions
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented professional with resilience and adaptability in a dynamic sales environment
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, inclusive work culture
- Problem-solving ability and decisiveness when addressing client needs and market challenges
**Preferred Experience:**
- Background in hotel sales, hospitality, business development, or account management
- Experience in MICE, group sales, or event coordination
- Knowledge of the Jakarta corporate, MICE, or leisure market
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics
- Experience managing complex client requirements and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects
