About the Role

Responsible for robust estimation processes to deliver best quality and cost competitive bids to enable achievement of HBS regional sales targets. 

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in the design, estimation, and proposal development of ELV and Security Systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), Security Management Systems, and integrated Fire & Security solutions.
  • Expertise in ICT infrastructure design and sizing, including active and passive network components such as structured cabling, LAN/WAN networks, fiber optic infrastructure, network switches, IP Telephony, racks, cabinets, patch panels, UPS systems, and associated head-end equipment.
  • Strong capability in requirements analysis, specification review, RFIs, equipment take-off, device selection, solution architecture, controller and server sizing, cable scheduling, and preparation of accurate BOQs and cost estimates
  • Ability to size and select compute infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and head-end requirements for Security, ICT, and ELV solutions.
  • Sound understanding of network architecture and cybersecurity fundamentals, with the ability to propose secure LAN, WAN, and VPN solutions for single-site and multi-site deployments.
  • Skilled in preparing technical proposals, compliance matrices, system architectures, riser diagrams, assumptions, exclusions, qualifications, and deviation statements in accordance with customer and regional requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Honeywell and third-party product portfolios, enabling the development of optimized, value-engineered, and technically compliant solutions aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Experience in driving cost optimization, value engineering, bid standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance proposal quality, competitiveness, and cycle time.
  • Ability to handle complex bid activities, coordinate with sales, business development, operations, and technical review teams, and manage proposal deliverables through the complete pre-sales lifecycle.
  • Strong commercial awareness, market knowledge, and analytical skills, leveraging lessons learned and competitive intelligence to develop winning technical and commercial strategies. 
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers, consultants, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining Honeywell's professional standards. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, balancing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality, compliant bid submissions.
  • Commitment to knowledge sharing and team development through coaching, mentoring, and conducting technical training and Share & Learn sessions.

  • Pre-sales process knowledge.
  • Leverage AI-enabled estimation and productivity tools to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of technical proposals, cost estimates, and bid deliverables.
  • Ability to manage jobs and/ or projects to standards, budgets.
  • Value engineered approach in all the deliverables.
  • MS office (Excel & word) competency.
  • Good communication, both verbal and written in French.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders from different geographic regions in multiple time zones
  • Balance in speed & accuracy to meet timelines
  • Exposure to design & estimation for security management system and complete ELV/ICT  (Active and Passive) Solutions
