About the Role
JOIN OUR TEAM
As a (Junior) Business Development Manager - Sales & Promotions, you will be part of our Special Sales Team and responsible for select special sales and promotional activities in our Westwing Shop. In this role, you will manage seasonal sales and on-site product promotions to drive revenue growth and support major sales events such as Black Friday. This position is permanent and based in Munich.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own high-impact commercial sales and promotions on Westwing Shop, developing data-driven strategies and AI-supported concepts to maximise sales, customer engagement, and business performance
- Optimise automated commercial concepts and processes to improve how sales-driving initiatives are planned, executed, and scaled across markets and business models
- Drive innovative concepts for future sales events by analysing past performance, industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour
- Lead close cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Pricing teams to build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure a coordinated commercial approach
- Influence outcomes across the organisation by partnering with stakeholders and senior management, bringing structure to complex topics and translating strategic ideas into tangible results
YOU COME WITH
- 3+ years of professional experience with a proven track record, preferably in e-commerce, business development, or consulting
- Strong analytical abilities, with a track record of collecting, analysing, and translating complex datasets into actionable business insights (proficiency in Excel is a must; SQL or BI platforms are a plus)
- Proven project management expertise, with the ability to multitask, lead cross-functional initiatives, and balance competing priorities end-to-end in a fast-paced environment
- A pragmatic, hands-on mindset, combining strategic problem-solving with a strong bias toward execution and measurable results
- Excellent communication skills, with full fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to build trust across diverse teams
