Caregiver Personal Care Experience Required

PAY: $18.00-$23.00/hour

LOCATION: Orange County, CA

CareWorks Health Services is hiring experienced caregivers who are comfortable providing hands-on personal care in clients’ homes.

Applicants must be willing to assist clients respectfully with bathing, toileting and incontinence care. This position is best for someone who is dependable, service-minded and comfortable following detailed care instructions.

Essential Duties

• Bathing, dressing and grooming assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Walking, transfer and gait-belt assistance
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping, laundry and linen changes
• Companionship and dementia support
• Accurate care notes and electronic timekeeping

Requirements

• Hands-on personal-care experience
• Active California HCA registration or willingness to apply and complete Live Scan fingerprinting
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• 2nd Form of ID (Passport or Social Security Card)
• Current TB clearance or willingness to obtain it by the required deadline
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Car Registration (if applicable)
• Car Insurance (if applicable)
• Smartphone for scheduling, communication and electronic visit verification
• Professional references
• Willingness to complete a post-offer drug screen (in office)
