RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Daily Operations:

  • Efficiently process client transactions with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and knowledge.
  • Accurately open, maintain, and close consumer deposit accounts and services, including identifying cross selling and referral opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of ACBT’s core processing system, products, and services, as well as a conversational knowledge other business areas (like lending and wealth management).

Client Experience:

  • Deliver quality, personalized service to meet client needs and develop loyal advocates.
  • Address client inquiries regarding accounts, products, and services, effectively resolving issues.
  • Provide in-person, phone, and electronic support for issues related to debit cards, online/mobile banking, and treasury management services.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Recognize potential fraud and manage risk by demonstrating sound judgment and thorough scrutiny.
  • Adhere to regulatory and bank policies, remaining up-to-date on all necessary training.

Essential Qualities for Success:

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Windows, Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Flexibility with schedule and the ability to rotate between bank locations

Requirements

Education

  • Minimum of Associate degree from accredited university; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Additional bank-related training and/or retail banking experience is a plus

Experience

  • Cash handling required
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in a banking environment, preferably as a personal banker or universal banker
  • Knowledge of financial products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
