About the Role

Description

Community NeuroRehab of Iowa (CNR) is hiring a Clinical Coordinator (CC). The CC is responsible for employee supervision, internal case management functions and must be able to establish and maintain mutually reinforcing partnerships with program participants and their family members, employees, case managers, and ancillary rehabilitation professionals.

The service provided in our residential rehabilitation setting is Community-based Neuro-Behavioral Rehabilitation Services in which CNR is Iowa’s premier provider that created this service for the State of Iowa. The CC position requires a bachelor’s in human services, psychology, sociology, public administration, or a related field with a preference to those who have experience in the field of disability services. A minimum of one year of documented experience in a supervisory or direct care position working with persons with an intellectual disability, mental illness, developmental disability, or brain injury is required. Ideal candidates will have two years of supervisory experience in providing services and support to individuals with brain injury and mental health difficulties.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Iowa driver’s license with a good driving record in accordance with CNR policy, be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, and pass both state and federal background checks. Extensive training is provided, including credentialing as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package is available.

  • CNR fully paid sponsorship for becoming a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) in the first twelve (12) months.
