Position Summary
The Maintenance & Custodial Team Members help steward the physical spaces of Mercy Culture Church with excellence, care, and a servant’s heart.
Reports To: Facilities Director
Key Responsibilities
- Steward executive and general office spaces with excellence and attention to detail
- Perform custodial and routine maintenance tasks
- Support painting projects and minor facility improvements
- Respond to and assist with maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Uphold Mercy Culture’s values, culture, and leadership expectations in all work
- Participate in weekly staff and prayer meetings to stay connected, spiritually engaged, and aligned with the heart, culture, and direction of the church.

- Ability to manage tasks independently while remaining flexible to ministry needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach overhead
- Ability to safely operate basic custodial and maintenance equipment
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor as required
Membership Requirements
To work at Mercy Culture Church, you must be an active member in good standing or become a member upon hire.
Leadership Standards
Mercy Culture Church employees must agree and abide by the beliefs and Leadership Standards of the church.
Work Schedule
This position could either be part time or full time depending on the needs of the department. This position requires flexibilty and may be asked to adjust work schedule for church events or conferences.
This position is on-site and requires a consistent in-office presence due to the collaborative nature of our ministry.
