Groundskeeper  

Department: Operations 

Reports to: Property Manager 

Location: Overland Park, KS

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain landscaping by mowing, raking, watering, weeding, trimming, and laying sod 
  • Pick up and dispose of litter and trash throughout the property 
  • Clean and maintain common areas and grounds 
  • Perform non-technical maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and appliances 
  • Assist with make-ready tasks including painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry 
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and supplies 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 


Requirements


 What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 6 months of related experience 
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures 
  • Knowledge of grounds maintenance and basic building trades 
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools 
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects 
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude 

Additional Details:

  • No formal education required—just a willingness to work hard and learn 
  • Work may be performed on rooftops and require use of ladders or lift devices 
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions

  • This position is full-time, non-exempt. 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday schedule and weekends as needed.
