About the Role

Are you a client-focused audit leader ready to take greater ownership of client relationships, team leadership, and audit delivery? As a Manager at Crowe Australasia, you’ll lead engagement teams, work closely with clients and partners, and help deliver high-quality audits across a diverse portfolio.

Your role, your contribution!   

  • Be a key contact for clients, building trust and long-term working relationships
  • Plan and deliver audits to quality, budget and regulatory standards, including agreed timelines and Crowe audit methodology requirements.
  • Lead engagement teams, allocate work effectively and monitor progress throughout the audit.
  • Review audit working papers, financial statements, audit reports, management letters and other engagement deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve accounting and auditing matters, escalating significant or complex issues to the engagement partner as appropriate.
  • Communicate audit findings clearly and practically to clients. 
  • Coach, develop and allocate work to build team capability, including providing regular feedback and on-the-job coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with audit methodology and accounting standards
  • Manage engagement economics, including budgets, WIP, recoverability and resourcing.
  • Identify growth opportunities and support fee proposals

What you will bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated external audit experience within Australia, with strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Previous experience with Australian auditing and accounting standards
  • CA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to manage competing priorities within agree timeframes
  • Strong capability to lead and inspire teams, with experience coaching and developing others.
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills.
  • Experience reviewing financial statements and resolving technical accounting and audit matters.
  • Experience with CaseWare Working Papers and Financial statements highly regarded.
