Lending Operations Representative

Summary:
- Process loan payments and maintenance requests.
- Address member loan questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate loan records and documentation.
- Provide professional, efficient member service.
Role: Assists members with their existing loans by performing requested maintenance. Handle tasks such as processing loan payments, address payment inquiries and provide loan related guidance to provide smooth loan management for members.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or Individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Other Skills:
1. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail..
3. Knowledge of loan documentation requirements and fundamentals of the financial industry, including the basic processes of other credit union departments and branches.
5. Ability to operate general office equipment such as copier, computer, and other credit union provided equipment as well as related computer software as provided by the credit union.
6. Professionalism in appearance, dress and attitude is a must.
