Job Description:
- Quality
- Sign certifications of conformance
- Maintain ISO/AS9100 registration. Serve as Management representative for registration bodies.
- Point of Contact for source inspections
- Oversee FAI and certification packages. Inspect completed packages and present to source inspectors.
- Inspect completed DD250s
- Schedule, perform and review internal and external audits
- Train and oversee Lead Auditors
- Resolve customer returns
- Serve as backup inspector and/or aid in receiving inspections as needed
- Initiate, track, and review corrective action requests. Perform RCCA on issues as needed.
- Review quality non-conformance reports
- Generate and review procedures, instructions and forms as needed
- Work with management team to ensure company-wide compliance of quality system as Management Representative
- Troubleshoot quality issues that arise on the shop floor
- Trends
- Generate and analyze weekly quality trend charts
- Generate and analyze monthly quality objectives charts
- Conduct meetings with personnel based on trend charts
- Training
- Train new employees on the quality and non-conformance reporting systems
- Conduct recurring training regarding the QMS, Internal Audits, AS9100 and RCCA
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 2 years minimum experience in the Aerospace Industry
- Experience with AS9100 and AS9102. Served as Management Representative or Lead Auditor for external audits with registration bodies.
- Experience managing and performing internal and external audits per AS9100
- Demonstrated knowledge of RCCA for internal and external quality issues
- A demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, approaches and tools, including strategic planning project management
- Experience and working knowledge to include ISO/AS9100 implementation and documentation
- Computer skills should include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and MS Access
- Ability to create and maintain a positive employee friendly work environment
