We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Executive - Freight Forwarding (Mandarin Speaker) to join our Operations team and support accurate billing, data validation, and invoice processing within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process billing accurately in accordance with the Billing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Generate and process customer billings using the CargoWise system.
Validate rate cards against system rates to ensure billing accuracy.
Enter and maintain operational data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Respond promptly to billing and information queries while maintaining excellent stakeholder communication via email.
Review completed work to identify and correct discrepancies before submission.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information at all times.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance billing processes.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
Experience in billing within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry is preferred.
Hands-on experience with CargoWise and data entry is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong typing speed with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin (spoken and written) to support customers and stakeholders.
Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform well under pressure in a collaborative team environment.
