About the Role

Description

TruStile Doors, a recognized leader in premium door manufacturing, is growing—and we’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician and natural leader to grow with us. Our team keeps production running safely and efficiently by combining strong technical skills with a proactive, team-first mindset.


As a Maintenance Technician III, you’ll take point on complex troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and support of key systems across our 24/7 operation. You’ll also help lead by example, assist in mentoring junior technicians, and drive continuous improvement within the department.


 Highlights of the role: 

  • Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing systems (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic), while guiding and delegating tasks to junior technicians.  
  • Monitor machinery performance to reduce unplanned downtime and maximize throughput.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues from 24VDC control circuits to 480VAC 3-phase systems.
  • Perform all work in accordance with LOTO procedures, electrical safety requirements, machine guarding standards, and established plant safety policies.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Lead root cause investigations, develop corrective actions, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent repeat equipment failures.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource during off-shift hours, making sound operational decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Interpret and work from electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Support facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, boilers, water systems, and electrical distribution.
  • Support a diverse mix of automated manufacturing equipment, CNC machinery, utility systems, material handling equipment, dust collection systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Maintain production machinery in accordance with OEM and plant standards.
  • Recommend and communicate opportunities for equipment or process improvements.
  • Support and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs in collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed using our CMMS (Fiix).
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment, systems, and machinery upgrades.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and third-party vendors as needed for complex repairs.
  • Provide coverage across shifts, roles, or positions to support operational continuity.
  • Support training and development of junior technicians.
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture in all maintenance activities.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships across departments to support production goals.
  • Respond to urgent equipment failures and support critical production recovery efforts during off-shift hours

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with reading schematics, troubleshooting, and documenting repairs.
  • Familiarity with basic PLCs and industrial automation (Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Siemens, etc).
  • Comfortable with metal fabrication, machine guarding, and shop safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, emergency call-ins, and provide off-hours support as needed to maintain safe and reliable operations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial technology.
  • Experience with CNC operation and maintenance.
  • Background in training, mentoring, or leading small projects.

  • Strong troubleshooting mindset.
  • Self-directed, capable of prioritizing work independently, and comfortable making technical and operational decisions during off-shift hours.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Schedule:

Every Other Monday + Tuesday – Thursday (5:30PM – 5:30AM) 

  • This schedule will rotate, having a long week (4 days - 12 hours long) and a short week (3 days - 12 hours long).

Salary: 

  • $38.23 - $41.09 Per Hour + 15% Night Shift Differential (Effectively $43.96 - $47.25 Per Hour)
  • Night Shift Differential is applied to any hours worked between 5:30pm to 5:30am (which includes all scheduled shift hours)
  • The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.
