About the Role

Description

The Member Club & Guest Services Supervisor assists the Spa and Club Operations Manager in the daily management including facility operations, the club and spa front desk team, spa, co-working space and members lounge, and retail offerings. This hands-on leadership role ensures that the facility is clean, safe, and welcoming, while maintaining high standards of member and guest satisfaction. 


The Supervisor is responsible for team management and supporting the financial health of the business. As an ambassador for Gravity Haus, this role models excellent service internally and externally, helping to cultivate loyalty within the Gravity Haus community.


Key Responsibilities


Team Leadership & Operations

  • Interview, hire, train, schedule, and manage Club Front Desk team members with focus on efficiency, morale, and service standards.
  • Participate as an active member of the Hotel leadership team.
  • Provide MOD (Manager on Duty) coverage in rotation with the Operations Manager.
  • Support the implementation of processes that ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate with support departments (Accounting, Engineering, Housekeeping) to improve operations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support the needs of the business.

Member & Guest Experience

  • Deliver and model Gravity Haus’ high standards of hospitality to all guests and members.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance the member and guest experience, driving strong guest satisfaction ratings.
  • Work closely with the Membership team to drive new memberships and increase retention.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Gravity Haus’ mission, vision, and core values in all interactions.

Finance & Retail Oversight

  • Assist with budgetary decisions related to staffing, equipment, and offerings.
  • Support retail operations in collaboration with the Spa and Club Operations Manager.
  • Follow cash handling and nightly reconciliation procedures to ensure financial accuracy.

Spa, Fitness & Membership Support

  • Supervise aspects of spa operations, including training, scheduling, and supporting spa revenue goals in collaboration with the Spa and Club Operations Manager.
  • Partner with the Fitness Manager to promote Dryland programming, including group classes and personal training.

What We’re Looking For

  • Frontline experience in spa, fitness, or hotel operations strongly preferred.
  • Prior team supervision or leadership experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports, budgets, and inventory data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite; Mind Body Online (MBO) experience preferred.
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with a strong service orientation.
  • Commitment to the outdoors, sustainability, and personal growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
