Why This Role Matters


We are seeking a Floor Supervisor to join our team at Old Martinez Hall. In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership across our restaurant, bar, lounge and event service areas, helping ensure seamless service, strong team performance and an exceptional guest experience. Working under the direction of the Executive Chef/Chef Partner, you will oversee Front of House service execution, support food expediting and beverage operations, maintain appropriate staffing and service flow and serve as a key point of support for both guests and team members. This role provides direct supervision and guidance to Bartenders, Bar Teammates, Servers, Event Service Staff, Food Runners and Bussers.


What You’ll Do:

  • Provide active, hands-on leadership across restaurant, bar, lounge and event service operations.
  • Lead Front of House teams during regular service and events, providing real-time direction, coaching and support.
  • Monitor staffing, guest flow and service pacing, adjusting assignments as needed to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
  • Oversee bar and beverage operations, food expediting and event service to ensure consistent execution and established service standards.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for guest concerns and service recovery, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, training, work assignments and performance management for Front of House team members.
  • Monitor beverage, liquor and operating supplies while supporting inventory controls, proper product storage and cost-control practices.
  • Partner with culinary, banquet and operations teams to coordinate service and create a seamless guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service and New Mexico Alcoholic Beverage Control requirements.
  • Ensure opening, closing and shift procedures are completed accurately and consistently.
