About The Company
Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a private, non-profit corporation working under contract with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to persons, age three and above, with a developmental disability pursuant to the Lanterman Act. ACRC also provides services to infants and toddlers, between birth and 36 months, who have a need for early intervention services and who meet the eligibility criteria for the California Early Start program.

THE ORGANIZATION

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 900+ persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.


COMPENSATION

The below is dependent upon experience and education.

  • $88,004.80 - $101,899.20 per year

The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. 


THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY 

ACRC is seeking a Client Services Manager located in the Sacramento office, to provide management and oversight of a Children’s Unit, serving children with developmental disabilities ages 3-18. The purpose of the Client Services Manager position is to ensure that assigned unit staff are guiding Clients and their families in acquiring and maintaining assessed support and services. Responsibilities include: selecting, training, monitoring, coaching, managing, and evaluating assigned staff; ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and regional center policies; conducting periodic and continual review of cases and documentation with Service Coordinators; participation on committees and groups to provide education and training on services for Clients; providing emergency on-call support for assigned staff; participation as a member of the Leadership Team to develop policies and procedures; and serving on Leadership Team work groups.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Extensive sitting at workstation, in meetings, and in vehicle (50%+ of time); Frequent standing and walking; Adequate manual dexterity and coordination to operate standard office equipment, such as computer, keyboard and mouse, copier, scanner, etc.; Hearing and vision corrected to normal range for operation of standard office equipment, transcription of documents and administration of electronic records; Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and stretching; Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. while moving paperwork, supplies, and other office materials; Ability to independently visit off site locations (i.e. client, group, residential and day programs, etc.); Occasional travel outside of catchment area of distances of 100+miles.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS 


Applicants must possess a Master’s degree and have three years of experience in a human service (or related) agency, preferably in the field of developmental disabilities OR a Bachelor’s degree and have five years of experience in a human service (or related) agency, preferably in the field of developmental disabilities; ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, requirements and policy standards; demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; and have strong time-management and organization skills.
