Gates Associate

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions:

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Pay: $20-$21, depending on experience

Gates Assembler

• Assemble iron products according to drawings/specifications and prepare the product for shipment

• Deliver consistent quality product which is packaged to meet customer expectations

• Clean machinery; maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.
• Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes.
• Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.
• Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability.

Requirements

NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES:

• Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.
• Basic welding a plus
• Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.
• Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred
