West Des Moines, IA

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Full-time + Benefits

 

*There is flexibility between 32-40 hours/week

Provide comprehensive mental health care including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy for individuals, families, and groups. Utilize evidence-based practices and ensure care aligns with ethical, cultural, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with families and professionals to support patient treatment goals and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct psychosocial and diagnostic assessments; diagnose per DSM standards.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy, including crisis intervention.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices and make referrals as needed.

  • Engage collateral sources (family, friends, agencies) to support treatment.

  • Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate care.

  • May perform Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or court-related evaluations.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with treatment goals.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy with a clinical/mental health focus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.

  • One year of experience with the site’s specific population preferred.

Licensure:

  • Iowa: LISW, LMFT, LMHC

  • Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT

  • Wisconsin: LCSW, LMFT, LPC
