About the Role
We are looking for an Economics Teacher for an international school based in Tongxiang, Zhejiang province. This position is available from November 2026 for the 2026/27 academic year.

This is a modern, bilingual international school in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, offering an IGCSE and A-Level pathway to early years through upper secondary students. The school blends Eastern and Western educational approaches, with small class sizes and a strong focus on whole-child development in a safe, well-resourced campus environment. Faculty and student policies are well established, giving teachers a structured and supportive environment.
Job details
- Teach Economics to secondary school students and prepare them for the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum
- Plan and deliver lessons, assessments and student progress reports
- Monitor student progress and give clear, constructive feedback to students and parents
- Work with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the curriculum
- Create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment
- Teaching load in line with the school's standard secondary timetable
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Bachelor's degree or above in Economics or a related subject, with a valid teaching qualification/certificate
- At least 2 years of previous teaching experience
- Familiarity with the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum required
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting
- Monthly salary of 25,000 to 32,000 RMB commensurate with experience and background
