About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and safety-focused Service Crew Operator to join our underground mining team at a high-performing operation in Cobar.


As a key part of the mining team, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services – keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

Roster:

This is a residential only position working on a 7/7 (days / nights) rotational roster.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining services such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation, and power cabling
  • Assisting with underground infrastructure moves, including pump setups and ventilation systems
  • Conducting inspections and performing basic troubleshooting of service equipment
  • Supporting jumbo and development crews as needed
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in all working areas

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in underground mining, preferably in a service crew role
  • Sound knowledge of underground mine services and equipment
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling in a demanding underground environment
  • A team player with a commitment to safety and site procedures
  • Current driver’s licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
