FSLA: Non-exempt, payable bi-weekly on Fridays
Pay Range: Hourly rate of pay is negotiable based on experience, with a range of $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
The Merrimack is looking for a detail-oriented and service-focused Loan Operations Representative to join our talented team at our Foundry office in Concord, NH. In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting smooth, accurate loan operations across New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp and its affiliate banks, including The Merrimack, MVSB, and Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW).

What You’ll Do
- Respond to a variety of inquiries by phone and email, providing helpful and timely support
- Deliver quality service to internal and external customers by providing accurate responses and following established service and complaint-resolution procedures
- Assist with servicing loans throughout the loan lifecycle, from opening through closing
- Process payments to private mortgage insurance (PMI) companies and review loans with PMI to recommend cancellation of coverage when appropriate
- Complete periodic reviews of loan collateral to help ensure appropriate holds are in place
- Track motor vehicle titles, UCC filings, and recorded mortgages to help ensure liens are perfected, and complete related core system maintenance
- Review loan billing statements and notices for accuracy and completeness as needed
- Support quality control reviews of imaged loan documents to help maintain accurate records
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of applicable loan regulations
- Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with core operating systems required; Jack Henry Silverlake experience preferred
- Reliable, independent means of transportation
