Job Summary

The Assistant Vice President, Digital Transformation is responsible for driving and supporting the organization's digital transformation agenda by identifying, developing, and implementing technology-enabled initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance. The role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to deliver strategic transformation projects and foster a culture of innovation across the organization.

What you do

  • Assess the business impact of digital and how it can transform the business and value chain with experience in Deposit,      Investment/Wealth Management, or Loan product projects

  • Leverage deep understanding of retail banking to define clear, detailed system requirements that align with business needs and enhance operational efficiency. Possess the understanding of banking product lifecycle, operations, and customer journeys

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontline, products, IT and operations, to define and design business requirements and ensure seamless transition from the existing system to the advanced system. Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills across business, IT, vendors, and external parties

  • Experience tracking project progress, test execution, defects, risks, and resolution activities. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on the project's progress.

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to the project and devise mitigation strategies.

  • Work closely with system development team and vendors to ensure the new system meets business requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Facilitate training for end-users and provide ongoing support during and after the system transition.

  • Monitor the performance of the new digital solution and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and productivity.



Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in retail banking, with experience in Banking Product, Core Banking & Transformation Projects as advantage

  • Proven experience in Agile project delivery and business transformation projects, with strong capabilities in backlog management, sprint planning, user story definition, stakeholder engagement, UAT execution, system implementation, and driving modernization initiatives from a business perspective is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management tools.

  • Ability to prepare project reports, status tracking, defect management, and testing documentation

  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar productivity tools is a plus. Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, reporting, documentation, and testing activities.

  • Proven track record of defining business requirements for large-scale system modernization projects.

  • Strong business acumen with an in-depth understanding of the retail banking sector, including products, services, and regulatory environment.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
