Layout Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Structure Layout uses various tools to layout structures components for air coolers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret blueprints

• Set up Torch bottles

• Operate, ironworker, and other equipment

• Ensure cuts from saw is correct to print

• Use a variety of hand and power tools

• Operates cranes

• Keep a clean and hazard free workspace

• Follow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPE

• Identify any defective items and handle them accordingly

• Use reason to solve problems

• Other duties as assigned/directed by supervisor

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 6 months to 1 year experience in manufacturing, Heat Exchangers industry preferred

• Certified to operate crane and manlifts or ability to obtain certifications

• Detail oriented

• Self- Motivated

• Must be able to work well in a team environment

• Ability to frequent, reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, bend, and balance

• Must be able to stand for extended periods

• Excellent hand-eye coordination

• Ability to read and interpret measurement devices
