Position Summary
As an Item Entry Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day pharmacy and specialty operations by ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining patient and prescription records, and assisting with workflow processes across multiple departments. This position requires a highly organized individual who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update patient, prescription, and program information in internal systems.
- Review records for completeness and data accuracy.
- Maintain detailed documentation and notes to support operational workflows.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners as needed.
- Process requests and updates while adhering to established procedures and turnaround times.
- Utilize multiple systems simultaneously to manage workload efficiently.
- Identify and escalate issues that may impact service levels or data integrity.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and external pharmacies via telephone to obtain, verify, and update information related to prescriptions, inventory items, orders, and account records.

- Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
