Customer Solutions Architect

Averna Powered by Spherea’s expertise ranges from vision systems, specialized battery test, RF & microwave and fiber optics to robotics & motion, instrumentation, control systems, and data management. 

As a Customer Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in supporting the sales of the key SPHEREA products and solutions.

Working closely with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams, you will help customers identify the most suitable test and measurement solutions while ensuring technical feasibility and business value. In addition to supporting the SPHEREA portfolio, you may also contribute to a variety of projects across Averna's broader domains, including Automotive & Transportation, Electric Vehicles, Consumer Electronics, Industrials, and Life Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing system architectures, applications, and technical solutions in line with customer requirements and the organization’s strategy
• Analyzing needs and developing technical concepts for new projects
• Collaborating with the Sales team to define value propositions and sales strategies for projects with high business value
• Preparing technical and commercial proposals and presenting solutions to customers
• Participating in project planning and technical risk assessment
• Participating in meetings with customers and project teams
• Contributing to technology-related decision-making processes
• Building relationships and collaborating with suppliers of components and off-the-shelf solutions
• Collaborating across disciplines and regions with automation, electronics, software, mechanical engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams
• Ensuring the completeness and quality of documentation in accordance with company processes

• Higher technical education in electronics, automation and robotics, control engineering, computer science, or a related field, e.g. mechatronics
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a technical position (e.g., systems engineering or as a designer in automation, electronics, mechanical engineering, or software)
• Very good knowledge of mechatronic system design and systems architecture, as well as product development processes and motion systems
• Able to use specialized engineering tools and systems architecture modeling tools
• Very good command of written and spoken English, French will be an asset
• Experience in sales will be an asset
• Knowledge of the relevant industrial sector
• Creative individual with the ability to present innovative technical solutions to the client
• Good communicator and commercially strong in customer relations and building an internal network
