About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines regarding safety regulations and best practices when utilizing cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and disposing of various types of waste
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions with precision
- Maintain professional standards of conduct and teamwork
- Complete annual educational requirements within the assigned time frame.
- Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and Joint Commission regulations related to the department and, as appropriate, to the hospital.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock patient rooms, common areas, and specialty areas following infection control standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
