About the Role

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) — Ongoing Business Accounting & Advisory


Live Urgent Care is seeking an experienced CPA to work directly with our owner and leadership team, providing ongoing accounting, tax planning, and financial guidance for our healthcare businesses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

We’re looking for a hands-on professional who will develop a strong understanding of our operations, communicate regularly, and help us make informed financial decisions throughout the year.


Responsibilities

  • Review and oversee bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Provide proactive tax planning and prepare or coordinate business tax filings.
  • Review monthly financial statements and identify opportunities to improve profitability and manage expenses.
  • Support budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate accounting across multiple entities and locations, including intercompany transactions.
  • Coordinate with our internal team, payroll providers, and other professional advisors.
  • Assist with tax notices, amended returns, and agency correspondence as needed.
  • Meet regularly with ownership to discuss financial performance, upcoming obligations, and business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Active CPA license.
  • Experience supporting businesses with multiple entities and locations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania business taxation.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to explain financial matters clearly.

We are seeking an ongoing, direct relationship with a dedicated CPA. Please include your availability, proposed engagement structure, and compensation or fee expectations.
