The Role

  • Laboratory testing and analytical breakdown of film samples
  • Interpret material analyses and communicate with Technical team to provide product specifications
  • Provide assistance for historical data analysis and comparison, trial monitoring, and quality testing
  • Travel to other Charter Next Generation plants or customers may be required
  •  Other responsibilities may be assigned based upon company needs

Schedule: 

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (flexible)
  • Summer Internship

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering: Chemical, Packaging, Plastics, Materials Science or Industrial with an emphasis on Plastics/Polymers
  • Pursuing a degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science with appropriate emphasis may also qualify
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with people at all levels 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to solve complex problems and think outside the box 
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
