Specialist - Radiology

The Specialist Radiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services within their scope of expertise, focusing on women’s health, including gynecological and obstetric imaging. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the department's continuous improvement and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient histories and examinations, ensuring compassionate and efficient care.
• Investigate, evaluate, and diagnose conditions using advanced imaging modalities with a focus on women’s imaging.
• Perform and interpret imaging studies related to gynaecology, obstetrics, and general radiology.
• Maintain compliance with SKMCA’s medical bylaws, policies, and procedures.
• Support the Head of Department in ensuring adequate medical coverage within the department.
• Actively participate in teaching, mentoring junior staff, and departmental audits.
• Engage in performance and quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain patient confidential

Qualifications

• Education: MBBS and a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Radiology.
• License: Valid UAE license or eligibility.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Radiology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Gynaecological Imaging.
  • Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques and international radiology standards.
