Job Summary: The Point by Switchpoint is a permanent supportive housing community dedicated to providing stable and reliable housing for low-income and unsheltered individuals. Our goal is to offer a supportive environment with wrap-around concierge services that cater to the unique needs of each guest.
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and leading the tenant support staff. They serve as a role model for the Switchpoint model, embodying our culture and values. By leading through example, they foster a positive and productive environment for both staff and tenants. The Front Desk Manager works to enhance tenant satisfaction while ensuring compliance with facility rules and capabilities. Shifts include working 4 pm-midnight; Sunday- Wednesday or Wednesday- Saturday
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing daily facility operations.
- Conduct regular check-ins with tenant support staff.
- Ensure staff and tenant compliance with policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance issues to the maintenance team and Property Manager.
- Address tenant complaints, de-escalate when necessary, and involve the Property Manager as needed.
- Schedule staff to ensure shift coverage, minimizing overtime.
- Collaborate with the case management team to support tenant progress and well-being.
- Hold tenants accountable to lease agreements and issue warnings as needed.
- Assist with quick turnover of rooms and filling vacancies efficiently.
- Support other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Cover shifts as necessary due to staffing vacancies.
- Maintain inventory of property supplies and ensure accurate ordering.
- Hire and train tenant support staff.
- Assist with activities and functions to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Aid Property Manager with budgetary concerns.
- Be accountable for the tenant support team’s performance.
- Respond to audits to drive continuous improvement.
- Report critical incidents immediately to the Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Director or Property Manager relevant to facility operations.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is an experienced and highly skilled hospitality professional with exceptional management abilities and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of making quick and informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point of sale (POS) software, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- 2+ years of experience in the hospitality or human services industry, preferably with experience serving low-income to extremely low-income individuals with compassion.
- 1+ years of management experience.

Compensation
Wage range between $18 - $23/hourly
