About the Role
Description
Position: Sales Samples Associate
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Description:
The Sales Sample Associate is responsible for distributing samples to sales reps, showrooms and corporate trade show display.
Responsibilities:
- Receipt of samples
- Label generation
- Label, collate and pack sample decks
- Assemble and ship kits within determined deadlines
- Assist in trade show preparation
- Assist in maintaining sample area inventories. Update and monitor samples and decks.
- Pick and pack inventory from warehouse as necessary
- Fulfillment of accommodation and employee orders
- Assist with on-site trade show set up, sales and tear down
- Assist in order form generation
Requirements
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent active listening skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Good manual dexterity
- Must be accurate, detail oriented, able to work independently and effectively
