Demand Planner

At Pact Group, we're creating a more sustainable future through innovation, packaging and manufacturing excellence. We are looking for a proactive and analytical Demand Planner to join our Steel packaging business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager - Steel, you will lead demand planning activities and help establish robust, scalable S&OP processes across the division. 

About the role 

Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing, you will: 

• Develop and manage a rolling, collaborative sales forecast. 

• Lead and support the S&OP and S&OE planning cadence. 

• Analyse demand performance, identify risks and recommend solutions. 

• Develop reporting across volume, pricing, customers and new business trends. 

• Improve forecast accuracy, customer fulfilment and planning processes. 

• Maintain demand planning tools, templates, KPIs and operating rhythms. 

• Support system and process improvement projects across the division. 

About you 

You will bring: 

•  Depth of experience in demand planning gained within manufacturing environments.

• Experience establishing or improving demand planning and S&OP processes. 

• Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving capability. 

• Experience with ERP systems, essentially, SAP. 

• Exposure to statistical forecasting models and machine learning methodologies. 

• Demonstrated change management and continuous improvement experience. 

• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills. 

• A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.
