Teaching Assistant

Applicants should have (i) a Master’s, MPhil or PhD Degree in Psychology, preferably in Industrial-Organizational Psychology; (ii) demonstrated ability or experience to support the teaching of courses in the area of Industrial-Organizational Psychology; and (iii) proficiency in statistical analysis to provide support on student projects; (iv) proficient in both English and Chinese, and proficiency in spoken Cantonese or Putonghua is preferred.

Duties include assisting in (a) coordinating academic activities; (b) reviewing coursework assignments; (c) guiding student projects, (d) facilitating classroom discussions; and (e) performing other administrative tasks, such as managing program admissions, preparing program reports, and organizing program events, as assigned by supervisors. The role requires attending classes on weekday evenings and occasionally on weekends, subject to special teaching arrangements.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, starting in August. The contract is renewable, subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
