The Multi-Asset Execution Specialist is a key member of the Execution (Asia) - Listed Products & SP team in Singapore, responsible mainly for structured products and listed products. He/she shall ensure active risk management and meet all regulatory and internal compliance expectations relating to the role.

In this role, the primary responsibilities include ensuring the fast and accurate quoting and execution of equities, exchange traded derivatives and structured product orders, while managing operational risks. The individual shall provide a high quality of service to the Bank’s Night Desk clients and Direct Access Clients (DACs) and provide market insights if/where required.

Further, the individual shall also build highly effective relationships across the Bank to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services to optimise service to clients.

The incumbent will be working after Asian office hours (night desk) i.e. during the London/US market trading sessions. He/she shall be able to work on night shifts and public holidays.

The Multi-Asset Execution Specialist – Night Desk reports to Head of Execution (Asia) – Listed Products & SP.

YOUR CHALLENGE

People Management

• Contribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment
• Build highly impactful relationships with global and regional stakeholders across functions in the Bank

Client Management (internal & external)

• Ensure the timely and accurate quoting, execution, and booking of equities, fixed income products, exchange traded derivatives and structured product trade orders, while managing operational risks effectively
• Maintain close working relationship with our counterparty
• Render a high quality of service to Night Desk clients and DACs
• Regular consultation with Front representatives to be kept updated of clients’ needs/demands and take appropriate measures to fulfil them, where relevant

Business Management

• Support the team’s financial and strategic objectives and operational goals, driving business outcomes and results
• Identify opportunities to enhance functional efficiency and productivity, proposing process improvements and workflow optimisations, where relevant/appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of all trades executed and provide regular reports to management.
• Maintain and update stored equities DACs information regularly

Compliance & Risk Management

• Meet all legal, regulatory, and compliance standards/requirements
• Adhere to the standards and expectations outlined in the relevant user manuals and guidelines
• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Professional and Technical

• Relevant higher educational and professional background with 5-10 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in trading systems and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
• Strong knowledge of equity, structured products and fixed income products, trading platforms, and execution strategies
• Represent the Bank’s and shareholders’ interests at all times
• Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and broad understanding of the financial market and products
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Mandarin will be required

Regulatory

• MAS licensed representative
• CACS 1 & 2, FMRP, RES 12B, CM-EIP and CM-SIP, or CM-CMP
• Familiar with regulatory expectations and requirements 
• Understand cross border rules and regulations
