Retail Shipping Clerk (Seasonal)

Starting Pay: $17.00/hour

Status:  Part Time/Seasonal (up to 40 hours per week, now through end December 2026) 

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday, OT on weekends as needed.

 The Retail Shipping Clerk assists with daily shipping and retail operations, including taking phone and online orders, fulfilling orders, preparing shipments, and maintaining inventory. This position may also assist with retail store duties as needed. 

What You'll Do

• Take phone and online orders and provide excellent customer service.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and safely.
• Prepare purchase orders and invoices as needed.
• Unload deliveries and organize incoming products.
• Track and replenish shipping and packaging supplies.
• Assist with inventory and production records.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Follow company, food safety, GMP, and plant safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and other departments.
• Support retail activities such as bagging curds, making cheese trays, stocking coolers, and cleaning as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to learn is valued.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly.
• Stand for up to 8 hours and regularly bend, twist, reach, push, and pull.
• Work in food production, retail, and shipping areas with varying temperatures.
• Work with cleaning chemicals while following safety procedures.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screen and general background check.
