North Texas Real Estate Resources, Inc. is looking for a relationship-driven Sponsorship & Business Development Representative to help grow sponsorship and non-dues revenue opportunities for MetroTex Association of REALTORS®. With more than 37,000 members and a wide range of conferences, professional development programs, networking events and member communications, this role offers the opportunity to connect businesses with one of the largest REALTOR® audiences in North Texas.
You'll build new relationships, develop and manage a sponsorship pipeline, connect prospective partners with opportunities that meet their business objectives, and work across our Events, Marketing and Professional Development teams to deliver an exceptional sponsor experience—from first conversation through activation and renewal.

What You'll Do
- Proactively identify and develop prospective sponsors and affiliate partners through outreach, networking, referrals, event engagement, and other business development activities to support established sponsorship and non-dues revenue goals.
- Promote and sell sponsorship opportunities outlined in the Association's Sponsorship Guide, using a consultative approach to understand prospective partners' objectives and connect them with appropriate events, programs, audiences, and engagement opportunities.
- Manage the sponsorship sales pipeline from initial prospecting through follow-up and close, maintaining accurate records of prospects, opportunities, activities, commitments, and outcomes and providing regular pipeline, sales activity, and revenue updates to the Events Director.
- Develop and present sponsorship proposals and customized packages in alignment with established pricing, guidelines, and approval processes.
- Manage relationships with affiliate and sponsor partners, serving as the primary liaison for engagement, activation, fulfillment, retention and renewal while identifying opportunities to expand partner engagement.
- Coordinate sponsorship activation and fulfillment across Association events, professional development programs, and member-facing initiatives working collaboratively with Events, Marketing and Professional Development to ensure sponsor commitments, recognition, and deliverables are executed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of sponsor agreements, benefits, fulfillment status, engagement metrics, and other sponsorship activity and prepares reports and updates for internal stakeholders as requested.
- Lead the coordination and annual refresh of the Association’s Sponsorship Guide, working with Marketing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved sponsorship offerings.
- Serve as staff liaison to the Affiliate Committee and represents the Association at events, networking opportunities, and committee meetings throughout the metroplex to support affiliate engagement, sponsor relationships, and business development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Events Director.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience, required.
- 2–4 years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, consultative sales, partnership development, relationship management, or a related revenue generating role.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the confidence to develop new business relationships.
- Ability to understand partner objectives and connect them with meaningful sponsorship and engagement opportunities.
- Strong organization, follow through, and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage prospects, relationships, priorities, and deadlines while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using databases, tracking tools, and reporting systems to manage sales activity and sponsorship commitments.
- Experience in a membership-based organization, association, nonprofit, events, or sponsorship environment is a plus.
- Ability to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for Association events, networking opportunities, and committee meetings.
- Must be able to legally work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.

In performing the essential functions of the position, the Sponsorship and Business Development Representative may be required to:
- Occasionally stand and frequently walk and sit.

- Occasionally lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.

- Travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex as needed for Association events, networking opportunities, committee meetings, and other business-development activities.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a performance-based sponsorship sales incentive plan, providing additional earning opportunity based on qualifying sponsorship and advertising revenue generated in accordance with the terms of the plan.
