Overview

Experience Required

• Front-end mastery – you bring 6+ years of software engineering with deep expertise in modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Sitecore or Angular), TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3, and you build scalable, testable, component-driven interfaces. 

• Design-to-code craftsmanship – you translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive UIs, work fluently with design systems and component libraries, and care deeply about micro-interactions, motion and visual polish. 

• Full-stack versatility – while your depth is on the front end, you are comfortable integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and can contribute across the stack (Node.js, Python or Java) when the work demands it. 

• Performance & accessibility focus – you optimise for Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering performance and cross-browser behaviour, and you build inclusive, accessible experiences that meet WCAG standards. 

• A bias for rapid prototyping – you turn a loosely defined problem into a working, interactive prototype in days, and let real user feedback rather than a perfect spec drive each iteration. 

• Modern testing & tooling – you work hands-on across the SDLC with unit, component and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress) and modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, CI/CD). 

• An AI-led approach to building – you reach for AI coding assistants and agentic tooling by default to move faster, and can build the guardrails that make front-end delivery reliable and consistent. 

• Hands-on cloud experience – you have deployed front-end applications on AWS, GCP or Azure (CDNs, edge, serverless) and pick up new cloud services quickly as the work demands. 

• A client-facing mindset – you work embedded alongside client teams, translate business problems into experience solutions, and explain trade-offs clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
