Our regional corporate office is located in Bethesda, MD.

What You Will Do: 

We're looking for a Financial Analyst to join our East Operations Finance team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you'll help drive business performance through financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and strategic reporting. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to transform data into actionable insights and support key business decisions.

As a Senior Financial Analyst with the East Operations Finance team, you will help drive business performance through analysis of financial operations while collaborating with business partners from across the organization. A successful analyst will perform data modeling to support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic decision making.

A Day in the Life of the Financial Analyst will Include:

• Performs data modeling to support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and strategic decision making.
• Coordinate and produce monthly senior management reporting regarding organizational performance.
• Assists with accounting and financial reporting to support quarterly earnings releases and board meetings.
• Documents policies and procedures to create process flows.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Deliver financial reporting and analysis that informs operational and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with business leaders to identify trends, evaluate performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
• Prepare reporting and presentations that provide executive leadership with insights into organizational performance.
• Support quarterly earnings and financial reporting activities.
• Contribute to reporting and presentations for senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and shareholders.

What You Have

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field and at least 3+ years of experience with an extensive understanding of financial concepts, processes and systems.

  Required skills include: expert proficiency in Excel. 

  Highly desirable skills include: experience presenting to senior leaders, proficiency in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SQL, Power BI, and/or Hyperion. A background in real estate is beneficial, but not required.

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting processes.

AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance including:

• Expected pay rate of $90,000-$100,000 plus 10% annual target bonus. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
