About the Role
At Genisys Credit Union, we value our employees who are essential to our ongoing growth and success as a financial institution of choice. We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Accounting Representative Wire Specialist position at our Corporate Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI.
Position Purpose:
This position will perform and manage the necessary functions required to support all wire transfers in the most accurate and timely manner possible. This position also provides daily support to the branches on all issues relating to wire transfers.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Process all incoming and outgoing wire requests (domestic and international).
- Review wires for fraud and notify appropriate department.
- Verify funds availability and authorizations.
- Research and resolve wire investigations
- Provide high quality member service and assistance to members wiring funds.
Qualifications:
- 2 year degree in a related field of study or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school preferred
- Previous Credit Union or other financial institution experience desired .
- Knowledge of related PC applications including MS Office products, with emphasis on Excel, required.
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures including account reconciliation required.
Skills/Abilities:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attentive to detail and accurate.
- Good analytical skills.
- Able to use related computer applications and office equipment.
