General Description
The Sr IT Associate is responsible for maintaining, processing, and troubleshooting all Bando USA devices, application systems, network, and operations at the Bowling Green Distribution Center, serving as the primary local IT contact under the direction of the IT Manager. Coordinates the company's information technology projects and systems administration.

Essential Functions
· Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies and provides support for ERP, EDI, WMS, and other business applications.
· Maintains, administers, and supports the local infrastructure and implements cybersecurity controls in accordance with BUI IT policies.
· Provides administration support and end-user support for Bando USA’s internal applications and Customer's portal systems, such as: CSD, TWL, Demand Print Systems, Office365, Honda Portal, Toyota Portal etc.
· Leads and coordinates local IT project implementation at the Bowling Green facility, including documentation, testing, training, and deployment for software or hardware solutions, cooperating with different divisions.
· Directs continuous improvement and cost reduction activities with IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; and anticipating requirements.
· Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and security and control structures.
· Serves as primary contact for IT-related vendors for Bowling Green facility.
· Comprehends Bando USA's IT policies and actively promote adherence among employees.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
· Other projects/duties as assigned.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
· Minimum 3+ years work experience in IT related field is required.
· Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or a combination of equivalent education/experience is required.
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is preferred.
Requirements
· Excellent and collaborative verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess when an issue must be escalated to the next level.
· Must be analytic, detailed orientated, and highly organized, taking initiative to follow-up on requests and issues.
· Proficient with ERP and EDI systems.
· Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL), relational Databases, and ODBC connectivity.
· Proficient with Windows Server System; Maintenance and Troubleshooting, and User Security Administration.
· Proficient with Office productivity software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Familiarity with programming PLC and SCADA applications is a plus.
· Availability to work outside of regular shift on short notice for pressing IT related issues, maintenance, or projects.
