Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our in-office pharmacy team on a temporary contract basis from October 19 through November 20, 2026.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, reliable, friendly, and brings a positive attitude to work each day. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to follow established instructions and procedures, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

While this position is initially a short-term contract assignment, there is the possibility of transitioning into a regular on-call/PRN Pharmacy Technician position with Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic following the contract period.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking for a temporary assignment with the potential to stay connected with our team long-term.

Schedule: Daytime hours — no nights or weekends required!

Job Duties:

• Processes all medication orders accurately and timely manner.
• Maintains good patient relations by responding promptly to questions, problems, and or concerns of customers.
• Ensures compliance with all state regulations regarding medication administration.
• Ensures that all medication orders are processed in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
• Ensures that all medication orders are completed accurately and timely manner.
• Ensures that all medications are dispensed accurately and timely.

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 2 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Virginia Pharmacy Technician License (Required)

Work Environment:

• Clinic office, well lighted, well ventilated. Work may be stressful due to a busy office. Continual interaction with others.
