About the Role
Description
QuikCut is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team on 2nd shift. If you take pride in precision, enjoy working with state-of-the-art equipment, and want to be part of a company that values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement, we'd like to hear from you.
As a Press Brake Operator, you'll set up and operate brake press equipment to fabricate high-quality metal components that meet exact customer specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will play a key role in delivering exceptional products to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications.
- Select the proper tooling and perform machine setup and calibration for each production run.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
- Inspect completed parts to verify dimensions, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience operating a press brake, CNC brake press, or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 75 pounds.
