About the Role

Description

As the Director of Food & Beverage Outlets, you will oversee the front-of-house staff and operations of our full-service Restaurants and Bars and In Room Dining ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests. Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this leadership role requires a dynamic individual who excels in guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team development.  

     

Requirements

 1. Administration · Maintain standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.

· Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the food and beverage department.

· Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.

· Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the food and beverage department that   relate to the overall   objectives of the hotel.

· Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget.

· Ability to compile schedules for department based on staffing standards and hotel flow through.

· Ability to successfully complete payroll for department.

· Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. 

· Manage in compliance with Federal, state, local, and StepStone regulations and standards. 

· Maintain and correct procedures for credit  control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and   inventory control.

· Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

· Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software.

· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all line level duties and roles.

2. Support

· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates,   and vendors.

· Ability to assist with the design   and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.

· Ability to accurately report information. 

· Ability to assist with various accounting department tasks as needed.

· Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

· Attend required meetings.

· Ability to guide, mentor and lead Supervisors and Line level employees

· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft and Adobe applications such as Word, Excel, powerpoint
